Bidra med feedbackWent for brunch the middle of June; it was good, I would say the food was excellent and the service was good. I would give it a out of I went to the same place two days ago the service was fair and...the food was horriable . The bacon and the chicken was cold, the bacon was stringey and way under cooked and the eggs were a geenish brown color. All the food was cold, I would give them a 0 out of I can' t believe this was the same place. I hope this was an isolated incident.

Used to go here all the time. It was very homey and classic, food was always good. Saw the sign change and heard there were new owners so we went to check it out. We were the only people eating at on a Saturday....There was one server. I didn't realize it turned into a Mexican restaurant...the sign said steak and seafood but there was no seafood on the menu really. The menu had a picture of a burrito but no burrito listed. It was weird. So I ordered shrimp soup. I asked if it was spicy, server said yes, so I was excited and went ahead. Bf ordered chicken milanesa. Took a while for our food to come. I was almost done my beer when it arrived. His chicken was overcooked and rubbery. It came with rice but the rice wasn't enough, like cup. My shrimp soup was kinda bland. The soup didn't come with anything at all on the side and I think it was There were shrimp and two of them were a very deep brown colour compared to the four pink ones, so I didn't eat them. It was really really disappointing. Wouldn't go back.
This marked our second visit to this small family style restaurant in downtown Leamington. Unfortunately, it will probably be our last. Inadequate seating forced our party of five to huddle around a table designed for only four. Our server told us that the restaurant was...recently taken under new management but this did not explain why there were only three waitresses serving the entire room while a rear room clearly visible sat dark and empty. Our party of five had to wait for twenty minutes to get a waitress to take our quite simple orders...omelettes, poached eggs, clubhouse sandwiches and five coffees. The meals arrived a full forty minutes after we gave our orders. The meals were, at best, minimally edible. My mushroom and cheese omelette was under-cooked as was my small serving of home fries which showed NO evidence of ever being fried. Now, granted, this was noon hour on Sunday and the small cramped room was filled with, respectfully, the after church crowd. However, ownership of a restaurant needs to know that this day and time of day will be one of the busiest time slots of the week and, as such, the restaurant ownership needs to have adequate personnel on duty to serve its clientele. Now, granted, I have never owned a restaurant (nor would I want to) but there seems to be a little shortage of common sense here. Suggestion: Pay to hire more servers and open the back room and keep your customers happy.
The best restaurant in Leamington for breakfast, i went last week and food was good, waitres was super fast, went Friday for dinner the steak was fenomenal, i believe the meat come from their butcher shop, felt organic and healthy. For sure i will come...back again guys, Thank you.
