Decent enough food. Pretty average for a Mexican restaurant. The decor is very interesting with a lot of bright colors, particularly a light lime green that the ceiling is painted with, and lots of interesting trinkets. Just stopping by on a road trip, food filled up, it was very good and the waitress was a very nice lady. Very helpful and not too full, so the wait wasn't long. The food was great.

Worst service ever. This is the second time we have been here and had bad service. First time went there and I asked for shrimp and I received steak. Not really a big deal but I think I was the only table there. This time the Manager was so rude when I made a comment he told me why did I come here if I have problems. This is not a why to talk to a customer. I have worked in service for over 10 years and would never talk like that in front of guest.

Working in the same strip mall as this El Meson we eat here all time time! All the servers are super nice and friendly. We always get our carry out orders very quickly. When we go in after work, they have awesome margaritas and a great atmosphere.
