Kuala Lumpur Cafe - Leeds

Okay, so I'm Malaysian, and I ordered Bahasa to know it well. This place is just so good and I tried Malaysian places in Nottingham, Birmingham and London. The curry was tasteful and it was a good level of spices. The Roti Canai was flocky and didn't feel like he had been bought for all layers. There were also many options.

Pretty every meal on the menu has a vegan option. Super delicious and fantastic value.

We enjoyed our dishes here, which was just a short walk from our hotel. We ordered the vegan Chicken Satay-Skewers and Tofu Sambal for starters and vg beef-Nasi-Lemak with Rendang and vg chicken nose-Lemak with masek merah for our net, all for the collection, so we could get a 15% discount. The spits were absolutely delicious and I loved the texture of the chicken, but also the delicious Satay sauce. The Tofu Sambal was also beautiful, but I expected a spicy sauce. Both Nasi-Lemak dishes were so fresh and tasteful with such taste depth and had good mock meat textures. The masquean Merah was also really sharp. A little less oil would be my only con, but I would be happy to return.

Delicious, addictive, food and super sharp. There are a number of vegan and vegetarian options. I have to go back to try more of the options. The owners were friendly, smiling and they made us feel comfortable. I'd feel comfortable again.

Went with my boyfriend and his family, who are all vegetarian or thereabouts. It was fantastic. The faux meats were very tasty (particularly the satay chicken), and you can make almost every dish to your taste they even had a wonderful banana blossom option. Would recommend!
