Hunslet Carr Fisheries - Leeds

Thought i would give the fishery one last try as last time i went in it was horrible food, shame really as it was good when the older man cooked, but i think he as left it to his sons or some younger lads who dont have a clue. anyway, yes went back, and it is still bad, may be even worse than before if thats possible. its the fish its like paper thin and just batter thats burnt. i would find elsewhere to go if you read this before visiting.

Absolutely rubbish burnt fish or they haven’t cleaned the oil. When you got young lads working who are not bothered too busy on there phones. Concentrate on cooking didn’t know it takes longer to cook a spam fritter then it does a burnt special bs

Always jolly staff and tasty fish and chips, made to order food is always available and ques are never long, Regularly visited by myself and my family and never a disappointment

I came across Hunslet Carr Fisheries on Leeds List and it didn't disappoint. Great fish and chips, highly recommend! If you're in the area, definitely worth a visit.

Went in here tonite around 5.45. Ordered 1xFish n chips and a fish for me and mum. If I would have lived round the corner I would have brought them back and asked for a refund! Must of got the scrag end of the chips and the fish batter was rock hard, ate some of the fish, cat had a field day ! Have been coming here for years too !
