Bidra med feedbackGreat RV Park. Large spaces. Huge Trees. I was in spot 40. When it rains it gets a bit muddy but that was the only downfall having to wipe muddy paws each time going in and out and watch out for ticks. Wi-fi worked well. The pub onsite was open for dinner only this time of year. Tried the Fish and Chips and the BBQ Bacon Burger. While I waited for the take out order I sat and had a Mai Tai the one night and played the table arcade game which is complementary. The drink though was not worth $10. The fish was not bad. Fries good. The next night while I waited I had the Peanut Butter Stout which I really enjoyed and better priced at $6. The burger was pretty good too. If I didn't have an anxiety ridden dog I would have stayed at the pub longer. They have a room with air hockey and other fun games. And a fire outside with a TV and additional seating. Neat atmosphere and nice people. Note, they add 18% gratuity to the bill automatically. They also have a moderate trail down the mountain a bit to the south Fork Eel River. It was doable but I took a few breaks on the way up. Thank goodness they have benches every so often. The bathrooms were fine, showers hot. There is a pool. Wasn't heated when I was there but was open. They have a fort for the kids. Volleyball courts and shuffle boards. There is a store at the office in front that carries various items. Though it's right off the highway it wasn't noisy. They also have cabins and rooms to rent if you don't have an RV. I would stay here again.
Very friendly staff and I am sure it will be amazing when things from the storms are cleaned up. I had a nice private spot at the back with full hookups. I really enjoyed the walk down to the river with my dog. It’s steep and we enjoy that. The store and pub were a great addition to our stay. While the damage from storms is being cleaned up I expect some mud and fallen trees.
We booked reservations with Redwood River Resort and Pub for July. We are planning a family trip and are traveling with our Rottweiler. They initially said out dog is permitted to come there but then called back and stated that he cannot. I told them we have to cancel our reservations as we will not leave our dog at home. All of our babysitters are camping with us. The representative informed us that we will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the first night's fees $50) to cancel. This is BS since it is not our fault we had to cancel.
Really enjoyed my stay here! Rooms were cute and had extra touches that made our stay comfortable. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. It was a huge bonus to have the pub on site and we were able to go steelhead fishing with the river access. Definitely would come back!Rooms: 5/5
I could not say enough good things about this place. We were on our way to another resort and the roads got so bad due to the recent storm that our RV started to slide. This place was nearby and a God send! Not only was this place beautiful but the staff was wonderful! They kept checking on us and were such hard workers! The playground at this place was wonderful! Super family friendly! We will be back to visit again very soon!
