2 separate employees had bad attitudes which is annoying. Otherwise not a terrible place

I've poured out the last few drinks I've bought here, they've been so bad.

We entered the café for some coffee and noticed a "buy one, get one free" deal posted on the door. We decided to take advantage of it and ordered two drinks. However, when we reached the register, the cashier told us the total for both. We pointed out the sign on the door advertising the promotion, but he went over, took the sign down, and informed us that it had expired on the 3rd (today is the 8th). I mentioned that the sign was still displayed, but he insisted that it didn’t matter since it was expired. His attitude was rude throughout the interaction, and I felt it was unfair that we were being penalized for the café’s failure to remove outdated signage. As someone who works in retail, I'm aware of the importance of keeping promotions up-to-date.
