Slim Chickens - Lenexa

Service was slow and mushrooms were greasy and not fully cooked. Want to believe it was due to lack of help which is a problem everywhere. Salad was good. Have heard good things abouts Slims will give them another try later.

We decided to try this place today and we're not very satisfied. I got the 3 and 3 meal and he got the 5 and 5 meal, so we are both wondering why he only had 3 wings in his box. We waited about 10mins at the window for our food with no one else in line, so you would think everything came out piping hot. NOPE! The only thing that was warm were my side of mushrooms. The best part of the meal was my Lemonade and that's sad. I don't know if we will ever return here, especially if they're going to rip us off again.

First time at Slim Chickens and will be my last time also. I got $10 worth of lettuce there was 1 small chicken tender in the middle of a head of lettuce. Best part of the meal was the fries and sweet tea. Over priced for what you get.

Tried these folks for the first time today. I am not a big chicken tender fan. Most places put too much breading on them. Not here. Lightly breaded but has a nice crispy coating. Moist and tender. We tried the fried mushrooms and fried pickles and they were good as well. We ordered the 5 and 5 tenders and wings. Excellent choice to share. Place was clean and the staff was nice.

I had the cajun chicken sandwich and it was pretty tasty. Semi-crunchy and not spicy on it's own, so I ordered a side of their inferno sauce. Fries were average but that's okay. I do like the roomy to-go boxes, less waste for me to deal with
