Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Lenoir

For us it's nearly a perfect experience. Fast outside ordering, fast service, and the team makes the dipped medium cone seem like a large every time. That said, paying $8.40 for two ice cream cones means we won't be coming here very often. We alsonever come here for real burgers/meals given the other options around.

Ok, the place smelled like someone used a source mop to mop the floors. The crew was chaotic and not well managed or organized. My milk shake could have been thicker and had more Oreos in it, my wife's sundae was well done.

We visited this location shortly after lunchtime, and there were only two employees working. A lady was working the front, and a young man was working in the back, cooking everything. Although they were still fairly busy, they both handled all the orders pretty quickly and with a good attitude, despite not having a chance to stop the entire time we were there eating our lunch and dessert. This location also has a sanitation score of 100%, which I have rarely seen at any restaurant. Both of those employees deserve high praise and a raise!

I don't get to Lenoir, NC, often, but every time I go, I stop at Dairy Queen, even if it is a couple of miles away. The service and especially the Blizzards are worth it. Sweet people.

We ordered a medium hot fudge sundae and a medium Root beer float. The amount of hot fudge was about a tablespoon. I asked for more and was told that was the amount that came with it. Anymore would be more money. Both items cost us over $9. Too expensive for what we received we won't be coming back.
