Prime Italian Steakhouse - Lenox

I was disappointed that my friend's steak was undercooked and when we asked for it to be cooked more, they only cooked the outside and returned it. The waiter was friendly, but the rest of the staff made us feel uncomfortable. That was my second and final visit to this restaurant.

Our experience at Prime was a very aggressive one that ruined a lovely and mostly tasty meal. So I warn all future visitors to this restaurant… don’t order “the wrong dish” or the chef will personally come out and yell at you.At the end of our meal (and two bites in for taste) we brought to our servers attention that the second of our two porterhouses we received was indeed not a porterhouse.After the server reported that we would only be charged for HALF of the porterhouse, the chef then proceeded to came out all hot and bothered to “educate us” on the cuts of meat, show the bone in the meat a different plate steak altogether, I might add right in my mothers lap, and raise his voice as he defended his decision to charge us HALF PRICE for the “porterhouse” that wasn’t a porterhouse (rather than apologizing and attempting to rectify the situation).

This place was great. Food was delicious and service was amazing our waitress I forgot her name but I know she from south Africa she was the best. I definitely recommend this place

Whenever we visit Lee and Lenox, we always dine at Prime... The steak is the best we've ever had! Our server, Co-Co, was incredibly kind and a valuable asset to this fantastic restaurant. We can't wait to return to Tanglewood this summer and hopefully dine here again, God willing!
