Il Piccolo Morso - LEONARDTOWN

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but I was profoundly disappointed! I ordered gnocchi, and it arrived in a greasy, flavorless red sauce with unidentifiable pieces of dried meat. The gnocchi was drenched to the point of being mushy. I decided to switch to fettuccine Alfredo, but I was shocked by how poor it was. There was no cheese flavor in the sauce—just an overwhelming taste of lemon and butter.

We were a party of six and each of us chose something different from the menu, which was made easy by a very clean ordering system. The hostess and server were both polite and professional. Speaking for myself, I ordered the filet mignon with seared scallops. The filet was cooked perfectly to my liking, and the sea scallops were exquisite. However, I found the accompanying sides a bit lacking; they had a mushy texture and were grilled in a way that didn’t quite complement the main dish. I believe the dish would have been improved if they had used roasted redskin potatoes, which would give it a more American touch. Overall, I highly recommend the Little Bite restaurant, and I'm sure you and your family won’t be disappointed with your choice for a night out!
