Sissiboo Coffee Roaster Cafe - Lequille

It was such a good surprise to find a coffee shop with a good decor and nice vibe in microtown like this. However, that's it. Croissant was dry and plain taste. Brewed coffee (medium roast) was underextracted, no aroma, no taste. Coffee shop charges you as a good speciality coffee shop in Toronto, but you don't get the same. I would recommend to owners to switch to speciality coffee, then it will be an amazing experience.

I have to stop by every time I'm in Annapolis Royal. Haven't had a better cup of coffee in NS. Honestly, there's gotta be some secret ingredient in there that's got me hooked.

The spot!!! Local roast (roasted in Bear River, where they have another Cafe), fantastic coffee!!! Love their espresso, soy iced soy late. Lovely, friendly staff. Great window front with beautiful view. Cozy interior, this is where Annapolis Royal meets . Selling beans grind fresh as well. It's an art cafe in a beautiful old historical building. VEGAN/Vegetarian friendly, non dairy options are soy almond milk. Little snacks available. These guys have fully compostable cups which is awesome IMHO!! Still to be absolutely AWESOME , bring your own cup/mug mothernature will appreciate it!

John and Erin are warm and sweet owners who welcomed us to a tour of their roasting facility behind the storefront in Bear River. They have put thought and intention into every picture and word on each bag! They use Sissiboo Coffee Roaster Cafe as a location to bring the community together, and in doing so have become a hub of the town. At then end of our time with John and Erin, we left feeling honored to have glimpsed into the life of Bear River. Oh, and the coffee? Fantastic.

First visit today! Quaint, tidy, clean shop with gorgeous real wood floors. The smell of coffee upon entering was Heavenly. Bottle your own kombucha, grind your own coffee or by the beans to grind at home! Take out coffees available...regular, lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolate etc. Doctor your coffee/tea at a nearby counter with maple syrup, honey, sand sugar and choose from cream , milk, almond milk, coconut milk etc. Something for everyone!! Highly recommend!
