A real pleasure. And the terrace is in the shade. Very friendly staff. Excellent !! Fresh quality products served... Don't hesitate to eat or have a drink there. The view of the Vezère is magnificent. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
After a nice canoe trip, what a disappointment! We ordered 3 burgers and a panini. 45 minutes of waiting! In addition, the 3 hamburgers are served without the panini. First the waitress drops a fork and forgets to bring one back. So I go get it and remind you that we are still waiting for the panini. Response from the waitress...it 's cooked. What she doesn 't know is that from our table we could hear the exchanges with the kitchen. And when the person in the kitchen asked her if she had prepared the panini, we clearly heard her say no. She had apparently forgotten. So I go back to the table without knowing how soon this famous panini will be served. We start our hamburgers in order to eat them hot. After 5 minutes I go back to the waitress to tell her that our goal was to have lunch together and not for my daughter to have lunch alone after everyone else. Response from the waitress: I don 't have four hands. If you want it to go faster, you can take my place . No apologies for the delay and very professional response!! We are finally served panini without still any word of apology for the delay. After lunch, we leave the establishment and this is where it becomes unacceptable! My daughter clearly heard through the wooden panels of your establishment, the waitress say to her colleague: but what a co..ard this guy . I could be wrong but I think it was meant for me. Luckily she didn 't let me know until after we left. This is an unspeakable attitude. You are incompetent and have no sense of service. An oversight can happen. Just apologizing. That 's a shame because the burgers were pretty good. I don 't usually put such an opinion because I respect the work of people but being insulted following service problems, I cannot remain without reacting. So it was the first but also the last time I had lunch in this establishment, where some staff do not respect the customers.
We waited 20 minutes to tell us that the hamburgers were no longer served, then another 10 minutes to tell us that the cook was exhausted and no longer wanted to serve food (at 2 p.m. or even cold sandwiches. Many customers were unhappy and left in anger and despair. Remember to review your organization and above all warn customers when you no longer serve, this will avoid a lot of dissatisfaction on their part... Service: Dine in
The place is well located, reservation the day before, on our arrival no table provided, half of the menu out of order (or not wanting to prepare?? We felt like we were disturbing. The service in bulk, we fell back on the snack ...... any! The Côtes de Provence rosé is very good and a singer/musician couple enhanced the atmosphere. Certainly more suitable for a snack when arriving from the canoe but absolutely not for a relaxing dinner with friends.
