Bickerdikes - Letchworth

I visited this morning for a little exploration and was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from the charming gentleman and the lovely woman with her son who were running the diner. All the staff were fantastic! They were incredibly courteous to both me and my dog, Koda, and everyone wanted to say hello, which we both appreciated. I also discovered the chickens and rheas, which was such a delightful find! After enjoying a pot of tea and a scone in the café, I even bought some crystals on my way out. If only I lived closer, I'd be there all the time! Many thanks for their wonderful hospitality.

This place has a lovely ambiance and is dog-friendly, which is a big plus! We dined in the café's potting shed, where the menu featured a variety of sandwiches, wraps, toasties, and paninis, all filled with plenty of tasty options. We also tried the potatoes. Our sandwich came with simple condiments and a side of dressed greens, which were delightful. The homemade coleslaw was so delicious that I recommend upgrading to include it. The bread was fresh, though a bit thick, but it was wonderfully soft, and the filling was so moist that it slipped out a bit! Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert. The coffee was generous and piping hot. We definitely plan to return to try the soup and half-sandwich option. All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which is a huge credit to the owners.

This is a charming little farm shop and café, perfect for families and children. They offer a wonderful variety of fresh products, and I absolutely love their vegetables—they're always fresh and delicious. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful mini garden center with lots of fresh fruit branch, flowers and shrubs and exterior decorations. it also has chickens and rheas, and a nice caffe that serves delicious food with friendly service!

Really cute little garden centre and two very lovely guys on checkout who gave good guidance on the plants we purchased and played with our dog!
