IHOP Restaurant - Lethbridge

Me and my partner came in after a night out, looking for some good breakfast. We were waiting 20 minutes for someone to take our order, and we had to ask staff to get our order taken. Came in for Saturday brunch, and we waited 10 minutes for our drink order to be rang in (there was maybe 10 tables in here at the time we arrived) and another 10 for our drinks, then sat for 20 minutes for our server to take our order and I had to flag down another server because ours didnt acknowledge us. When she finally came over she said she ‘forgot about us’. Then our food order came out and specifications were obviously not rang in because both things we requested werent done. Really unimpressed with our service today. We were sitting for an HOUR total before our food hit the table, again, there was maybe 10 tables in here. Ive been waitressing for 10 years, I dont expect perfection because I know people have off days, but it seems she just didn’t care anout providing good service, or more about the tips from other tables.

Manager sat us down at a filthy table, assured us she would be right back to clean it up, never returned, waiter was instantly confrontational when we mentioned the table was filthy, he was only interested in our drink orders. When we told him we would like to wait to order anything until the table was cleaned. He then never returned either. Once we decided to go leave we let the manager know why, and she gas lit us and made multiple excuses. We will never return to this restaurant.

This, without a doubt was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had… My husband and I took our grandkids there for breakfast this morning… I had the boys breakfast all written down on a piece of paper… She brought their dishes with bacon… I told the server it was suppose to be sausage… She said i didn’t tell her that… But of course it was all on the piece of paper… I asked for my eggs Benny ‘very soft’ they came back ‘very hard’ I had to return them and wait again….It was the WORST eggs Benny I’d ever eaten… ! My husband said it was the WORST omelette he ever had…Trust me… We are not fussy eaters at all… but this was just unacceptable…

The food used to be pretty good, but we've noticed quality has taken a bit of a turn for the worst. We also ordered 2 items and it took them 55 minutes to get us our order. It's just okay, nothing special. The crepes in particular just looked.... sad. Also we ran to the bathroom shortly after we ate.... usually this isn't an issue.
