We also bought a souvenir for my Daughter and son in law.Lots of tea varieties for sale .I cant wait to take my interstate friends there.Love Love it
10 of us attended a Xmas in july lunchThe food was traditional a menu of soup, turkey and ham with roast potatoes, pumpkin sweet potato and vegs, califlower peas gravy. Followed by Plum pudding custard and cream or pavlova. Big helpings , delicious.Tea and coffee included cost $65 eachMaurice gave us a talk on teapots and the history of the teapots. Over 6000 teapots in the collection. Beautiful gifts to choose from. A teapot museum is packed with teapots, tea cozies, cups etc.Several varities of tea to purchase.Customers were also having high tea while we were there, which looked delicious. Brought in on a tea trolley, british music playing , the waiter wearing a top hat, suit , bow tie and white gloves.Unique surroundings well worth a visit .
We showed up on a Thursday at 1.30pm, and were shown to a table. There were maybe three other groups already in the room. We were then promptly ignored for half an hour by a waitress who was flitting in and out of the room.We decided not to wait them out, and left.Completely outrageous service!
I love relaxing here over scones and tea. It is a lovely option if you prefer a quiter lunch than the main street of leura. Gazing upon all the teapots is wonderful, a great place to take family or older family for lunch.
The presentation was awesome and everything was so delicious! Even great value for money!! Highly recommended. And the teapots everywhere -- just amazing!!
