Cafe Madeleine - Leura

House made cakes and soups - yum, lovely three cheese leek sandwich. Sevice was friendly even in the heat. This was our 4th try..to eat...and these guys took our order, acknowledged us, watered and fed us. Thanks so much!

Mediocre food and staff left a bit to be desired. Also, there is a weekend surcharge. Meal was expensive and on top of the surcharge, we found waiter had added extra. We were not given a receipt and when queried, found the attendant was clearly trying to juggle figures to add up to what he charged us. Disappointing. We will not be going back to Cafe Madeleine.

We ventured into Cafe Madeleine for coffee and a morning tea bite and were very impressed. Prompt service and food, lovely coffee and the best muffins ever - seriously! I took the opportunity of checking out what others were ordering and I saw many plates of lovely brunch - great serving sizes and lovely looking food! This looked like the place that the locals go.

Had delightful afternoon coffee and cake at this lovely, clean cafe with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Staff were professional and efficient; the music enjoyable but not intrusive, and my long black was on point. I went for the bread & butter pudding which came in a ramekin with vanilla ice cream on the side - delicious and not too filling! Highly recommend this spot.
