Levant Corner Store (lcs)

I?ve lived next to this store for about five years now and it has never been run so badly. I had to wait in a line of over ten people to check out, no one bought any huge orders. Cards got declined over and over, sounds like their machine isn?t working. Kids in the back are clueless. The poor man at the register had to step away over and over to teach them common sense things. Food orders are taking a long time now when they used to be so fast. The teens in the back were all standing around. This is not the first time this has happened, it been months of this. At least hire another cashier.

Ordered 3 take and bake pizzas so we could go home and bake them hot was told only allowed 12 inch size brought them home without looking in the box they were so thin while baking the sauce dripped through and the cheese was so skimpy i had to get some from the neighbors to actually make it look like a pizza for the kids. We were shocked they used to make it so amazing now we will go elsewhere!! Not just that we went to buy a nip at same time and the CHILD that waited on us looked so young he couldnt sell liquor. This place has gone down the drain.

Was looking forward to receiving these whoopies but when I opened the box it was full of ants which tells me the box sat somewhere for awhile. They were only wrapped in Saran wrap with a piece of paper around them. The box didn't have ants on the outside but when I opened the paper everything was covered in ants. Needless to say we didn't get to try them.

Absolutely the BEST family owned and operated community store around. From the pizza to the whoopie pies to the chinchillas* to the friendly, hilarious staff (looking at you, Jamie! to the Mega Shakes (yeah, you heard me right?MEGA SHAKES! , LCS has a little bit of everything! *No chinchillas were harmed in the making of this review and may or may not actually be available for purchase at this location. Do you know how many times this corner store has saved me from running out of gas on my way home? Yes, I?m THAT person that pushes my limit, and ?I can make it a couple more days....? No, no you can?t..... The LCS is a one-stop-shop. Fuel, propane, adult beverages, they make our suppers for us, they stock milk for tomorrow mornings cereal, baking ingredients, the hamburger/hot dog buns for Saturday?s bbq that the ones in your cupboard have changed a different color. One time I randomly needed tomato paste, THEY HAD IT! The pizza? My family drives down from Houlton and ONLY requests LCS pizza! Everything you need in one place to save you the 25-30 minute trip to the heart of Bangor, it?s here. I?m so thankful for LCS and for it being so handy for us. We love the J J crew, their friendly staff, up to date renovations, cleanliness and of course the big ole smiles on the regulars I?m so proud of this booming store!
