Golden Palace - Lewes

We had a fantastic experience from the moment we entered the restaurant. We were able to choose our table and did not feel cramped at all. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who were happy to accommodate any request. The portion sizes were just right, and we were able to order more dishes as we pleased. We enjoyed a 4-course meal, starting with duck pancakes, followed by a delicious main course and dessert. Every dish exceeded our expectations. It is unfortunate that we are only passing through the area on our way to catch the ferry to France, as we would love to become regulars at this restaurant. If we find ourselves in the area again in the future, we will definitely make a point to visit again.

I went to this restaurant with two of my family members for dinner. It was a spontaneous decision so we didn't have a reservation, but fortunately there was room for us. The owner and his daughter were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious with generous portions and they served great Chinese beer, Lucky Buddha. You have the option of choosing from the all-you-can-eat menu for a set price or the a la carte menu. I can't wait to go back soon. I highly recommend it.

The restaurant offers friendly and helpful service, with a good selection of menu options and large portion sizes. We stuck with the regular menu during our visit, but noticed that they also offered an all-you-can-eat option that was popular among other diners. The atmosphere was bustling and lively on a weeknight.

We stopped here after a Brighton beach day trip followed by a chalk cliffs hike. It was opened late on a Sunday. The food was phenomenal. The chicken chow me-in was my favorite but everything was good. The service was outstanding. This multigenerational establishment has friendly service, great food, and the all you can eat alternative gave us an opportunity to try new plates that we would’ve avoided otherwise and were pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this place

Fantastic Food at an amazing price. We just had a wonderful family night out. The food service was great. You need to get in early as it can get busy.
