I had a wonderful three-course Christmas lunch at this restaurant on Christmas Day. The staff were all in a festive mood, the food was of great quality and delicious, and it was a relief not to have to cook. It was a delightful way to spend Christmas Day. Thank you to the entire team at the restaurant.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We came here before a gig at Blackheath Halls, hoping to recreate some good memories from my student days in the 90s when I lived in Blackheath. We arrived at 6.50pm, ordered food and drinks, and enjoyed the bustling Friday evening atmosphere. However, our food didn't arrive until 7.40pm, causing us to miss part of the gig that started at 8pm. Despite informing the bar staff of our time constraints at 7.35pm, there was no indication of any kitchen delays. We were assured a refund for the uneaten food within 24 hours, but our account has yet to be credited. It's disappointing that I couldn't share the Blackheath I remembered with my partner, and we won't be returning. We are still trying to resolve the issue of our missing refund.

I visited this restaurant today (Sunday) for the first time in a while to have a roast dinner. It was absolutely delicious. The portion size was great, the quality was excellent, and the price was reasonable. I have to admit, my last roast here was disappointing, but I'm glad we decided to come back. My partner had 3 bar snacks for £16 and they were also fantastic. We even ordered a doggy roast for our pup and he enjoyed it. The staff was lovely, the service was great, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would highly recommend paying a visit to this restaurant.

Air con was lovely on a hot day, went for a brunch and the staff are very attentive. Food lovely too and the music was just loud enough to have a nice chat.
