Mcdonald's - Lexington

I actually work there, but I can genuinely say that the management and staff are incredible. I feel like I've found my second home.

I had the best McDonald's experience ever, and I actually work at one! I visited around 2:40 PM on a Thursday, and the drive-thru service was impressively fast. I ordered a Quarter Pounder with bacon, and both the patty and bacon were fresh. They even remembered my sauces! Great job, everyone!

I must say that things seem to have improved at these restaurants since the worst of the COVID era is behind us. Maybe the increased pay for employees has helped revive the restaurant workforce, which was much needed and long overdue. Unfortunately, the timing for implementing this change was less than ideal. Regardless, it appears that this shift has, at least for now, revitalized the food service industry. I've noticed positive changes across various restaurants in Lexington, and my experiences at nearly every fast-food establishment around the belt line have been good. On one particular night, I visited two different McDonald's and was pleasantly surprised by both. The drive-thru service was efficient, and the staff at both locations were friendly. This was even during the night shift! I highly recommend stopping by to see for yourself, especially at the one located at Richmond Rd. and Plaudit Place. Great job to both stores!
