Tekka Japanese Grill Sushi Lexington Ky

We did the habichi grill. Service was fun as expected. Food was on point with what I have experienced at other establishments. I also got the grilled squid and was very happy with that decision.Food: 4/5

My husband and I came here for lunch recently, we come to Hamburg pretty frequently and had never been here before. Unbeknownst to us, as we came in, they were about to close for their in-between lunch and dinner break. Nonetheless, they still very graciously sat us and the service was exceptionally friendly and quick! We ordered a few rolls of sushi and they were all delicious and definitely hit the spot! We will definitely come back perhaps to try the hibachi.

We started with miso soup which was pretty bland. We got two rolls each. Rainbow roll and Cali roll and Vegas and surf and turf roll. I would say these are pretty mediocre taste wise. The Vegas was the best of all, the others were just ok. Surf and turf was pretty burnt unfortunately but we were very hungry. It took a while to get our food and our drink was forgotten until I reminded. Probably would not come back.

Great food and service! Prices have recently increased. Dinner for Two has been removed and no more Panko shrimp that they use to make during the meal. Great food and service as always!

I was first introduced to Tekka Grill and Sushi in 2021. I live in Virginia so it’s quite a ride. Since that first time, I have been back 4 times. The last time after riding 6,800 miles on my Harley. I alway have the Sushi/Shashimi combo. This time I added the Beef Takaki appetizer. The two sushi chefs are amazing. I have told everyone I meet that this is the absolute best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. And that covers the entire US, including LA and Miami. I know I will be back. This is a fun place. The food is spectacular.
