Bidra med feedbackI stopped by this restaurant during my 17-hour drive from Wichita back to Phoenix after it was recommended by a young man at Loves Travel Center. I found the burnt ends, brisket, and hot links to be quite good — moist and full of flavor. I’m a fan of BBQ sauce, especially Famous Dave's Devils Spit, and their offerings did not disappoint. The coleslaw was creamy with a pleasant balance of sweet and sour from the cabbage. The potato salad was just as enjoyable, reminiscent of how my mom used to make it. Overall, it was a wonderful suggestion, and I will definitely make a point to stop here on my next drive home!
My husband and I were passing through town for the night and were eager to try this restaurant. However, since we were traveling with dogs and towing a 30-foot trailer, parking and dining in wasn't really feasible. I noticed they had online ordering, so I decided to place our order for the time we would be passing through. Unfortunately, I reached the payment stage only to find out that online ordering was unavailable. I tried again and received the same message. Assuming the system might be down, I opted to call. I dialed the number listed on Google multiple times, but it would ring once and then disconnect. I then tried the other number found on their website, but it wouldn't even ring—just made a strange noise before hanging up.
We ordered two takeout meals to enjoy in the park. I would have enjoyed my meal much more if plastic utensils and napkins had been included! It was a huge disappointment. I had to use the bread to eat my mashed potatoes.
Our server was nice, cudos to her. Atmosphere was ok, nothing fun or special about this place except flies everywhere. Food was below average to my taste, but to be fair I'm slightly spoiled after living in Kansas City for over a year. Food was barely warm, briskets were tough with no smoke flavor or any sauce at all, burnt ends were slightly better but not much. Mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese were straight out of Walmart( worked there so I know the taste Positive thing it was fairly cheap
A group of us from Turpin have met at my house for the last several years, for biscuits and gravy. Three of us came in on November 5 morning to try yours. We were very satisfied with the service, atmosphere, and food quality. Remember, food is always better when somebody else cooks it, ??We thank Brittany, for her service, and all of the staff, for this dining experience. Definitely five StarWe still had time to make it to Church
