Ruffino's Italian - Liberal

Authentic? Who cares; great food!. I've come through Liberal many times, always disappointed by the quality of food around here. FINALLY, I've found some great food. Is it what you'll find in Italy? If I were going to Italy, I hope so.

This was my second trip, but a first for my family. We all loved it! Our server became tied up with a large private group about half way through our meal, but the other servers were happy to jump in and assist her. The food is always great, and I highly recommend getting the calamari as an appetizer delicious! And if you have a sensitive sweet tooth, the cheesecake is fantastic! We will definitely go again!

This is a great place to eat, we were passing thru on our way to Santa Fe when we found this place. Fresh salad nice fresh homemade bread we split a pasta dish it was more then enough. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly. On our return we had a carry out pizza it was delicious as well, the locals love this place and so did we And I can be picky

This was a great experience on our yearly snowbird trek to Tucson. A gem in Liberal. Amazing wait staff. Food was delicious! But, oh, the portion size could easily be reduced by 1/3 to satisfy the most insatiable of appetites. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious! I had the tilapia and my husband the veal. Both were scrumptious, beautifully presented, and hot. This is a must stop if you're looking for upscale dining and ambience in Liberal. The restaurant is beautiful and the Italian opera in the background the perfect authentic touch.
