Grounded Coffee House - Ligonier

During my visits, I found it a bit odd when the owner and another guest inquired about where I was from and what I did. It left me wondering if their questions were simply friendly or if they were just curious since I probably didn’t look like a local. It was an unusual experience for me, but thankfully, I returned twice without any issues, so I’m leaning toward it being a warm gesture after all! I often stop by for coffee on my way to work at 7:00 AM. This café is cleverly hidden along the main road in Ligonier, Indiana, a quaint historic town with a population of around 4,000, also known as the "City of Wall Paintings." The beautiful and intriguing historic murals displayed in front of the café add to its charm.

Got the first shot of the day, and it was so good that we found this jewel of a place. Beautiful service and atmosphere was so cozy and uplifted. I wish we could have stayed all morning!

I had a wonderful experience painting while enjoying some coffee! The coffee was absolutely delicious!

As you can see from the emojis on the photo, the food was delicious. A lunch special of loaded grilled cheese and chips! The ladies working today were Rockstars during their lunch rush. I didn't wait long for my sandwich and I had a delicious mocha muffin to munch on while I waited. A muffin, and lunch was around $10 which is fine for the quality and fun experience of Grounded.
