Konohiki Seafoods - Lihue

While searching for a quick lunch to enjoy on the beach, we stumbled upon this hidden gem. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced.

This is a late review (I visited in March 2021), but I have been dreaming about the food and needed to relive the experience. I didn’t realize how amazing it was until I dined here. A local brought me to this place, and I always find my way back. During my 3 to 5 days in Kauai, nothing has changed—the poke is consistently fresh and delicious. The potato salad was unique, made with spaghetti noodles, and it was so tasty! I even took a tub of poke salad back to the mainland to savor the moment. They also offered various ready-made dishes, desserts, a hot bar, and drinks. It’s an excellent spot for grabbing some quick meals to enjoy anywhere.

During our trip to Kauai, we heard about a restaurant called Cousine Glen, which was said to have the best roasted chicken. Naturally, we had to check it out. I was really impressed by the food selection; I wanted to try all the different types of poke, but my wallet had other plans. I opted for the scallops, huli huli chicken a la carte, and a dragon ball for good measure. The rest of my family ordered the ginger-fried chicken, and I couldn't resist trying a piece, even though I shouldn't eat fried food. We enjoyed our time outside in the park and at the beach. The huli huli chicken reminded me a bit of bourbon chicken but was a little less sweet. The meat was juicy and tender. Overall, it was a delightful experience!

Today to kyle oshima. kyle wasn't there, but I saw who still had fun and worked hard! what can I say tasty and much to choose. fresh sorting from poke to huh to their famous Hanamalu chicken and fried garnelen! many prefabricated bento’s and sushi. grab a stop and go to the beach or a walk or a pool at the hotel. make the other tourist jealous! they look at this. see the owner kyle and tell me that fongie sent her. haha.

So I pretty much go there 3 to 4 times a month always got to make sure you know what u want .u can be by the door they saying hi can I help you.the food is awesome. Not to much complaints. But the only thing that really gets to me is that cashier lady that always on the register never have a smile,can barely hear her,ask for a receipt, theirs a price off and here.no thank you or go the hell.i really don't like doing this.but always the same register person.
