Dam And Grill - Lime Springs

I honestly can't recall my time at this restaurant! The drinks must be quite potent—definitely recommend giving them a try!

During my recent visit to Lime Springs with my band for Sweet Corn Days, we were in search of a spot to cool off from the sun, and the Dam Bar turned out to be the perfect choice. While I don't drink, so I can't provide insights on the alcoholic options, I did enjoy a cold Diet Pepsi from a bottle. We ordered some food, which was standard bar fare—fried cheese and chicken strips, among other things. The service was commendable, and despite being non-locals, we felt welcomed by the friendly atmosphere. I would definitely consider returning if I find myself at Sweet Corn Days again.

I was in Lime Springs with my band for the Sweet Mais Days event, and we wanted to find a spot to escape the sun. The Dam Bar was just the right place. Since I don’t drink, I can’t comment on the alcoholic beverages, but I did have a cold Diet Pepsi in a bottle. We ordered food, which was classic bar fare like cheese curds and chicken strips, and it was decent. The service was great, and the atmosphere felt very local; everyone recognized we weren’t from around there, but I didn’t feel out of place at all. I'd definitely return if I come back for Sweet Mais Days again.

We had a fantastic fish and shrimp dinner that everyone enjoyed! The salads were outstanding, with a wonderful variety to choose from! Everything was excellent, just like always!

The food was fantastic once again! I tried the fish and the shrimp basket, both of which were excellent.
