Pamcgrath's - Limerick

I absolutely love this restaurant - it's charming and cozy. I stopped in for a sandwich while passing through the village and it definitely exceeded my expectations. On top of that, there was plenty of parking available.

This quaint bar and restaurant with a thatched roof is a hidden gem. The atmosphere, food, and drinks are all top-notch. The heated beer garden, with blankets provided for comfort, is a fantastic touch. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The only downside is that there is no nearby accommodation, which would have made it a perfect spot to spend a leisurely evening.

The food is excellent, and the staff, mostly family members, are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They are also able to prepare high-quality dishes quickly and efficiently. Conveniently located not far from both Limerick City and Tipperary Town, this restaurant is a great choice for a tasty meal in a cozy setting.

While driving from Mayo to Waterford on a Thursday evening, my partner and I stumbled upon PaMcGraths and decided to drop in for a drink and a meal. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly bartender who walked us through the food options available. My partner opted for a pot of tea and a ham, cheese, onion, and tomato toasted sandwich, while I went for a pint of diet coke and a toasted ham, cheese, and onion sandwich since I was the designated driver. The sandwiches were served with a side salad and coleslaw, both of which were delicious. Despite not being a fan of salads normally, I found this one quite enjoyable. The bartender then kindly brought our food to our table where we settled into the comfortable seats. The cozy and inviting atmosphere made it hard for us to leave so soon. We definitely have plans to come back, perhaps to enjoy a Guinness with our next meal.
