Campestre Chicken - Lincoln Park

This is the best chicken in the area! I ordered takeout for dinner, and it was fantastic. Prices range from $10 to $20 per person. Highly recommend!

We visited the area to check out the Ford Museum and were looking for a casual dining option. The charcoal-grilled chicken with a spice rub was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant. We also noticed they have a food truck, so I assume they participate in local festivals and events. Be sure to try the quarter or half chicken meal—it's full of wonderful flavors!

The food here is fantastic! Everything is so delicious! I really appreciate the option to order for pickup online. The portion sizes are quite impressive. The chicken is exceptional, the plantains are outstanding, and the rice and beans are simply perfect.

Campestre Chicken is a fantastic restaurant known for their Peruvian rotisserie chicken. I usually place my order online and walk in for a quick pickup. I don't usually see too many customers eating in, so I assume it's mostly a takeout destination. On my last visit I got: Family Special $31.99) This includes a whole chicken, 3 sides, 4 drinks, and 4 of each red and green sauce. The chicken has nice roasted skin crust and the meat had great flavor. As soon as it comes out, and whenever you open the box, the fragrant scent of the spices hits your nose. I admit that the chicken was perhaps a bit on the dry side in some parts, but the flavor profile and heaping the green/red sauce on top made up for that. The green garlic and cilantro sauce is super fresh and goes great with the chicken. The red sauce is quite a bit spicier, but has a similar flavor profile. Both are delicious. For the sides, we got the black beans, rice and plantains. The black beans are pretty standard, quite al dente, and salted a bit too much really the only disappointment in this meal. The rice is a nice side, filled with carrot, green beans, and corn. The plantains have a good fry on them and are well drained and not too oily. Campestre gives you a ton of food you'll feel that heft when you go to pick up your meal! Definitely worth the money.

I have sampled nearly everything on their menu, and it's truly the best authentic option around! The chicken is incredibly juicy and full of flavor, and the fish is absolutely delicious! All the sides are amazing, and the sauces they provide are so good that they should be sold by the gallon! I will definitely be coming back for more! Service: Takeout Meal type: Dinner
