Almost Home - Lincroft

This has become our favorite spot for breakfast and coffee. We've tried the Seabright and Navisink locations, but this one is the best. Whether you're ordering breakfast, just grabbing a coffee, or picking up some baked goods, everything is excellent. I’m not sure who the baker is, but they have incredible talent—their baked goods are among the finest you'll find. My only complaints are that the baked goods can change frequently, so you might fall in love with something only to find it unavailable for a while. Additionally, there are location-exclusive drinks that you’ll love but have to make a special trip for. However, those are great "problems" to have!

Every time I visit, I’m impressed by the consistent quality of their food, which matches the warm and inviting atmosphere they’ve created. This restaurant is a true hidden gem, making every meal feel like a special celebration.

Almost Home was an absolute treat. It's hard to find great quality coffee with all of the big label brands everywhere. Do yourself a favor and stop in. The staff was friendly and personable, and the bakery items were off the charts.

I would love to give this restaurant 5 stars because of the food but we had to wait over an hour for a table and despite delicious food, we probably won’t be returning because of the wait. We were told it would be about 15 minutes twice and ended up waiting an hour. I wish they took reservations so people, especially families, could enjoy this spot without the wait. That being said, the PEC was phenomenal, as was the French toast. The coffee drinks (I got a vanilla latte) were perfection. If they offered reservations, I would be a weekly customer!
