Panera Bread - Linthicum Heights

It's great to see that Panera has begun hiring individuals who may be struggling with literacy. Everyone deserves a chance at employment. While it’s clear that order accuracy might be an issue—like when you request sauce on the side or actual chicken on your chicken pepperoni baguette—it’s commendable that they’re making an effort. They do charge correctly, so at least basic counting seems to be intact! It's a step in the right direction, and I appreciate the initiative.

I visited your location at 6:30 AM on September 15, 2023, and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience due to the poor service. This is the first time I’ve encountered such issues at a Panera Bread. I ordered my coffee using the kiosk, but there were no cups available at the station. I noticed a female employee slicing bread behind the counter, so I approached the service area to ask for a cup. The staff informed me that they couldn’t assist me and that I would need to wait. When I returned to the counter, the same employee was still slicing bread. She saw me waiting and rudely told me to wait again. Management, I don’t understand the purpose of the kiosk if we still have to stand in line for basic items like cups. Additionally, it would be beneficial to provide better training for your staff. A simple apology or acknowledgment, such as "I'll be right with you," would have improved the situation instead of being dismissive and rude. Thank you for addressing these concerns.

New Panera location! It’s so new that the road surrounding it isn’t even complete, and there are no other businesses in the area yet. I ordered two soups to go: the autumn squash and the French onion. The autumn squash was fantastic! The French onion was also delicious; however, I paid extra for cheese and specifically asked for extra croutons. Unfortunately, I received neither. I’ll make sure to check my order next time. Lesson learned!

Excellent and clean environment coupled with good delicious food makes for a fantastic meal!

Riley and her team made it right and went over and beyond on a wrong order, and quickly at that. It was very much appreciated! Our family will absolutely continue to have our meals at this location with that level of customer service.
