In front of the door we decide to sit for an aperitif based on aperol sprtiz, all in all the staff good, friendly and kind!

We bought 3 Granita and 2 Cannoli €25,50, not the best granita I cost, I must say that the device was great, but much too expensive. When I went to pay, he asked if I was Australian, he said you charge exorbinant prices in Australia, I said we are not now in Australia and if you add the exchange rate I just paid. 47.50 au. I told him I could get the same in Lipari for €15.00. He didn't answer.

We had very high expectations because of the good experience with other restaurants in Sicily, but it was a real bummer. I ordered pasta that came in a large bowl but not enough for €10. My friend ordered Pasta caprese and got a plate with some tomatoes and two mozarella pieces in the middle. At first we thought they misunderstood us, but the people sitting next to us had ordered the same and expressed their contempt very clearly. The waiter was also very unfriendly and lazy. Didn't even bother to clean our plates when we were done and when we asked him to come because we wanted a coffee that he just came with the bill: okay then. Definitely not recommend. If you are visiting outside the tourist season, simply bring your lunch from home and have a coffee or granita here. I heard they are very good, but I'm not sure because I couldn't try a (lol .

We were charged Euro 21 for 3 granitas with brioche that's Euro 7 for one granita+brioche! The staff member was rude and confrontational when I queried it, asking me why I was standing in the bar, joking about me to other staff while not realising that I understood Italian. There were no prices displayed for the granita only pictures. This place is a disgrace and spoils the reputation of Sicily for tourists. Avoid at all costs. There is a much more pleasant bar to the right as you come off the boat.

Arrival in Panarea is right in front of the port. I have never seen a place with such a variety of Sicilian house made granitas. The icy, fruity, delicious, refreshing Sicilian dessert is best. All natural ingredients, almost all vegan recipes and only for dying. The price is somewhat above average, but I do not think about paying for quality
