Shafran - Lipetsk

Great place! We visited during the day when there were no other guests. The music was excellent, and the food was top-notch. While not all the spices were available on the table, the waitstaff responded promptly to our requests. The dishes were fresh, with flavors that stood out from the typical fare in Yaroslavl. The average price for two, excluding alcohol, was quite reasonable. I highly recommend it!

The food was very delicious and beautifully presented—kudos to the chef! However, the service left much to be desired. The hostess was rude, and the waitress seemed apathetic. The dishes were served differently than expected. It's surprising, especially since the birthday girl had already paid the tip in advance. It's no wonder that on a Friday evening, only our table and one other were occupied. It's a shame that the excellent cuisine and decent décor were overshadowed by the poor service. It felt like I was visiting an inhospitable home of strangers.

I've always been thrilled with this place... Today, I invited some friends, and we were disappointed. They didn't have lagman! The manti we received were cold, and instead of 5, they only brought 4! I'm really let down today. If it's the same next time, I won't be eating here again!
