A lovely place to have an ice-cream in Lisboa. I would particularly mention the very nice waiter there who worked professionally and friendly (beard, African origin, I am sorry not to know his name). As soon as I come back to Lisboa I will go there again for another ice-cream.
Shyly hidden near Rossio station, this very tradition ice cream parlour is turning 100 years old soon. There are few flavours and maybe it's for the best, sue to their unique taste, not so sweet. They also have other beverages and even wine. Card payment is not allowed, only cash.
We came here the first night we arrived in Lisbon and thought the gelato was absolutely delicious. They have some interesting flavors. I loved the salted caramel gelato. We ended up coming back here two more times during our 5 night stay in Lisbon. The gelato was creamy and smooth and the best we have ever had. Plus the staff is very welcoming and friendly.
This is the oldest Italian Ice Cream Shop in Lisbon. It exists before the 2nd World War. It´s location is the same from a very long time on a hidden corner of Restauradores Square a stone throw away from Rossio Train Station. It is a tinny old glamorous place with a decor reflecting the eighties, its ice cream menu reflects also the traditional sort of ice cream cups we used to see in the old days and which is quiet refreshing regarding the simple modernity of how ice creams are served these days. If you are in Lisbon, this is surely the place to go . They also have another store in Amoreiras Shopping Mall.
