Rooster Street Butcher - Lititz

So we learned the hard way that this small town you have to have a reservation for dinner otherwise you don't eat. We went early like between 5pm and 5:30pm thinking we could grab an early dinner and reviews here were good. On arrival we waited a while before waitron asked us if we had a reservation and we said No. She proceeded to say we could come back after 8pm, as they only help those with reservations. We had looked at the website and it mentions you can call and leave a message or email about reservations but it didn't mention that you have to reserve and or you would be turned away. Sending an email without knowing didn't seem the way to go so we tried and failed. Interesting part to me is they do takeout she could have been friendlier and said we did have the option of doing a take out order. Instead her attitude was more like don't let the door hit you on your way out!

Super, amazing, wonderfully delicious! Great experience! Eating? Service is friendly and personal! Just visit, but definitely worth a return visit!

October 2021 What a cozy, inviting place to grab a bite. Very open and bright inside with a modern farmhouse kitchen appeal. Nice menu of soups, sandwiches, and salads, and a decent drink menu covering beer, wine, and mixed drinks. The roast beef was wonderful on a Kaiser roll with onion straws, cheddar, and horseradish sauce. The potato soup was delicious, very creamy and full of flavor. Excellent service and great prices considering the food is fresh, appealing, and delightful.

Came here for lunch takeout and it was good! My husband got The Rooster (spicy chicken sandwich) and I got The Hen (grilled chicken bacon sandwich) and we got a basket of fries to split. We both liked our sandwiches (fries were okay too) and I would definitely want to try the burger the next time we go back and also dine in to get the full experience.

The service was great. Staff were very kind and friendly. We took our kids along and sat at a comfy corner table with a bench and pillows. The atmosphere was very cozy and calm. The food was excellent. Very fresh. I had the rooster and my son had a burger. Both the beef and chicken were fresh and tender. We loved it so much, we went to the market nearby to purchase a few of their meats to take home. No complaints from me, however I do wish they had one of those cool long sleeve tees in my size. Maybe next time.
