Few selections on the menu to choose from...perhaps due to COVID. Not known for its cuisine. Full bar. Great place to sit and watch the ocean and sunset. Drinks a bit pricey.
I've been wanting to come to the Heritage House Resort for quite some time now and try one of their meals at the lounge. Though the menu has been simplified (down to more of an appetizer and quick fixin's) due to covid, the ambience and spectacular view of this seaside inn remains, it's as beautiful and serene as ever! Great walking trails with the family, a loyal trusted canine pet or simply a quiet time for yourself. Customer service was top notch and welcoming vibes from the staff was we received as soon as we enterred. An amzing place of respite.
Burgers by the fire. Simple fare well done. The restaurant is technically closed for covid but they serve a short menu in the bar Thursday through Monday. We enjoyed sitting in the couches rather than at a table. People bring their dogs so it felt homey. They have veggie burgers as well as beef and the salads can have chicken or shrimp. Not many options in this quiet Northern California town but good enough.
The best part of this place is the view. Decent food, but small portions. I had the French toast, my husband had the waffles. The waffle was light and fluffy. The French toast was good, but predictable and over priced for what it was. They were for sure understaffed as the service was slow. We waited at our table for 15 minutes before someone brought our drinks. However, we enjoyed drinking our coffee on the patio and the warmth of the fire. Ultimately, the food was underwhelming for this beautiful location, view and the prices. I would have gladly paid a little more for a more special breakfast.
