China House - Littlestown

We called into China House to place an order to go. The lady who answered the phone took my order incorrectly. We ordered fried rice with our meal and the lady who answered the phone obviously thought we ordered white rice because when we got home that's what we got. We called them to let them know, the lady who answered the phone never apologized, instead she argued and told me that!s what I ordered. She finally asked what she can do. I told her I would like a free meal next time, she said she couldn't, do that, she put the owner on the phone and said we can get a pint of free fried next time. We told them. We didn't want that because the meal we order comes with fried rice. We suggested that we get a free meal, they were so animate about it and treated us so rude. We have been ordering food from this restaurant on a weekly basis for 3 years. We could not believe how we were treated.

This little restaurant has the best food and very friendly staff. They use fresh ingredients and the food is always abundant and hot. A great deal for little money!

It’s unacceptable to allow a disabled veteran to be treated poorly in your establishment; if that’s the case, I won't be dining there either! What a shame!

China House came highly recommended by friends, and it certainly lived up to the praise. The restaurant is cozy and inviting, with an enthusiastic and helpful staff. Everything is made to order, and we particularly enjoyed the won ton soup, egg rolls, fried rice, and coconut shrimp. The portions were generous, leaving us plenty to take home for later. It's conveniently located just 8 miles from Taneytown, so we plan to visit frequently. We can't wait to go back!
