Bidra med feedbackWithout a doubt, this is the best Indian restaurant in Liverpool. I would even venture to say it might surpass anything available in Manchester. The service is outstanding, the decor is impressive, and the food is exceptional. It's a must-visit for all curry enthusiasts!
During my last dinner on my recent trip to Liverpool, I visited East Z East. It was a Thursday night and the restaurant was bustling, but they were able to accommodate me quickly. The menu offered a wide variety of options. I began with the pickle tray and some poppadoms. I was delighted to find not just the usual three options, but eight or nine different pickles, each showcasing a unique flavor. For my main course, I chose the Tiger King Prawn Doplaza. It was excellent, but I felt the portion was a bit small. I was grateful to have ordered some Peshwari naan on the side; without it, I might have left feeling hungry. Overall, it was a wonderful meal, though slightly overshadowed by the portion size.
I was staying at the nearby Jurys Inn for a conference at the ACC and passed by this restaurant several times without realizing it was an Indian place. On my last night, I noticed it was open late and decided to try some takeout. The lamb chop appetizer was one of the best I've ever had—extremely tender and beautifully spiced. The cumin rice was also quite tasty. The staff were very friendly, and I appreciated their recommendation for the lamb. I wish I had discovered this place earlier in my stay; I would have loved to visit more often. The hotel kitchen closed early, and since my only late-night option was Domino's, which wasn't my preferred choice even as an American, I really missed out.
