Il Forno Liverpool

A decent Italian place. eating was really good and the desserts made the experience great apart. must taste Italian food at this place

We had a nice dinner here during the holiday in liverpool. we sat on the open kitchen that was great when I love to see what's going on! I had the pumpkin risotto, which was delicious creamy, and craig had the sausage pasta dish he enjoyed. we also shared a garlic pizza bread that was delicious, but perhaps too much when we had no room for dessert. I would recommend il forno in any case as eating was brilliant and affordable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Terrible...and not gluten-free.! I called to ask about gluten-free options how I am a celiac. they said they could take place without problems. instead, I'm awfully sick after I eat there. the starter was rather disappointing, as only the salmon was delivered on a plate, minus everything listed on the menu. the main dish I ordered was risotto, as that is something I was always able to get gluten-free without any changes. this time they told me that the risotto was not gf and replaced the rice for pasta..awful tasting pasta. not sure what they did, but I have the last hour sick. Absoloutly fantastic, I enjoyed a superb meal there last night, pizza was cooked to perfection and my pasta sauce was just delicious my friend who had the veal said the meat literally fell off the bone, highly reccomend it. 5stars.
