Neighbourhood Cafe - Liverpool

This is a popular place for breakfast/brunch and rightly so. The food was really good and sensibly priced. The staff were friendly no sign thankfully of this grumpy one people go on about! Just one quibble, and that was the (delicious) food was served on a stone cold plate. Why? Surely some error here as no chef wants his/her food spoiled......

Food was not hot the tea was stewed and to top it off a 10% service charge will definitely not return.

Great breakfast. Priced low in comparison to others, as you add on the extras that you want. Great idea and reduces waste some people will never eat black pudding tomato, etc.

Food is lovely but service isn't good and 10% service charge is on the bill automatically. I'm happy to top for good service, don't appreciate the tip being assumed

We came her for a birthday breakfast like we have many times before and where shocked at how it has changed !!! I have had a full English breakfast in lots of places but have never had to add beans tomatoes and mushrooms as extras at an additional cost they have always been included? The beans came in a teacup not even a little ramekin which looked strange, the breakfast itself I would describe as average , the biggest surprise was being charged a 10% service charge on top of the bill my daughter has managed restaurants and said this charge is usually on tables of 10 and above there was only 3 of us !!!!, this was always our go to place but no more we won’t return here again !!!
