Bidra med feedbackI brought my family (6 of us) here for a meal. We were sat down in a waiting area whilst the table was prepared and I asked if we could order a drink. The woman I asked looked at me like I’d asked if I had just crawled out from under a stone. My mum then asked the same woman if there were any more toilets and she was also given the same stare and was really rude to my mum. I wanted to leave but my family were not so keen as they’d travelled some way to specifically eat here. Unfortunately this woman was also the person who was serving us. I felt awkward and when you think the bill came to over £400 it really wasn’t acceptable. Luckily she went off shift and 3 other people were in charge who couldn’t have been any nicer. They were called Alex, Adrienne Olly. The food was good and the view is absolutely breathtaking. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it if you’re lucky enough to have anyone but the woman I’d describe as late30s/dark hair (we went on 2/12/2023 at 2.30pm) looking after you. I should add the staff were all lovely and it was only the woman I described who was rude. Would I go back? Based on her it’s a no. But based on food, view and the other staff it’s a yes.
Today we enjoyed the Afternoon tea Panoramic 34 The staff was friendly especially Eleonora she made sure that everything was vegetarian as we requested she was very kind helpful. The vegetarian options were very yummy. Our favourite items were the rocca olive sandwich and the scones which were very fresh delicious!
Two visits within the last year and both have completely surpassed our expectations. Once, for afternoon tea and the second visit for an evening meal. Nothing could be faulted; the staff, food and view are all to be admired. Service was wonderful, this is an exceptionally top notch dining experience that Liverpool should be proud of. We are both non meat eaters and found plenty of choice and a great selection of wines. Thank you to David the team for looking after us, we shall return in 2024!
We had been to the Panoramic several times before, and each time had been a lovely experience. We visited again this evening and we were very disappointed indeed. The food was poor, the service was dreadful and all the nice extra touches have been taken away We both had scallops for starters, the three smallest scallops I have ever seen size of a 10p piece) and charged £9 extra each for them. My wife had turkey, which was worse than pub food, and I had halibut which was tasteless. My pudding essentially consisted of a strip of mousse with slices of apple. Only the wine was nice. The service was offhand and unknowledgable. No description of the food at any stage, I had to keep asking for the menus, and the mains and sides were literally thrown at us. All previous visits included an amuse bouche and a pre dessert, but the only “extra” was bread, which was underwhelming and nowhere near as tasty as the bread I make at home. And at the beginning the two of us were given a very large round table that would normally seat six or eight. Made us feel like the only two guests at a wedding, and very definitely not special. This is an expensive restaurant and no part of the experience lived up to expectation. Unless we hear that things have dramatically improved, we will not return
Had an amazing afternoon tea for our 40th wedding anniversary. The views were lovely, the food was great, and all the staff were amazingly attentive, the service we received was exceptional. Will definitely be visiting again.
