I recently enjoyed a delicious meal at Piri Piri Express, including onion rings, barbecued sweet corn on the cob, sweet potato fries, and a double cheeseburger. The food at this restaurant is far superior to the average chicken shops in the city. It is my go-to spot whenever I want a quick meal. The piri chips and chicken burger are delicious, the chef is friendly, and the staff are attentive. Don't be swayed by negative reviews from others who expect immediate, hot food delivered across the city. For a true taste of this place, dine in or pick up your order yourself.

It took me nearly two hours to receive my order. I called after an hour and was told it would be ready in 7 minutes, but it ended up taking 40 minutes longer. This restaurant struggles to handle busy times like Friday and Saturday nights, or during popular events like football games. The food arrived lukewarm and I was not impressed. I will not be ordering from here again, especially because the staff showed no remorse for the long wait.

I got my third job tonight for this takeaway and it was excellent as always, got a fresh chicken putta that was beautiful and fresh! my partner got crispy chicken pack, which was also really fresh and tasty! Beautiful large portions, right quality eating! some of the negative reviews here must be fake or have no warning! because all three command from mine, where consistent! to soon again. ps try their homemade cakes!

I have ordered so often by piri piri express and I have never been disappointed. amazing chicken. amazing sauce. bazing garlic bread. the pastéis de nata are unrealistic. I recommend the very hot chicken breast that makes her sweat and gasse for something cold, but it is so worth it. I also tried half the bun, and that's great. super delicate, juicy and spicy. better than nando is in a long shot. Oh, and I mentioned that they are making banoffepis? Yeah, delicious.
