Bidra med feedbackWhat a great place to spend a cold and wet Sunday afternoon. Took a friend from WA to sample the food and beer. He was blown away with the ambience, food and beer. Buffalo wings, pulled pork and dumplings were ordered and tasted absolutely wonderful....More
Sunday lunches are most enjoyable at the Bierhaus. Good food with generous servings, good selection of dishes prepared in front of you thanks to an open kitchen, food that can be shared or enjoyed selfishly, noisy, crowded and fun atmosphere. Rosie and Alistair run a great show there. The restaurant inside is warm thanks to an efficient radiation electrical system and a fireplace. The service is a bit slow, but simply because it is very busy. Why would you want to rush lunch when the atmosphere is nice?My only negative comment is the following: Please invest in a coffee machine and a Barista! To be served a boring Nespresso in such a nice place is a let down!
I recently went here on a wine tour with a group of 15 for lunch and was blown away by how good the food was, friendly service, great range of drinks and i informed them we were on a tight schedule and they were quick to bring the food out. Everyone enjoyed there food and the beer paddles. Thanks!
Great selection of food including food to share. Can get very busy so need to book. Food reasonably priced. Venue was very crowded and noisy it was the long weekend. Outdoor area has gas heating at some tables and was a better option than indoors for us. Great atmosphere with very friendly and efficient staff. Even with the crowd didn't have to wait too long for food. Will definitely go again
Driving through hills and stopped at Bierhaus as we had tasted their beer (bottled) and thought it quite nice. The place was very grotty, need to dust their shelves and tables need a good clean. Beer on tap didn't taste like bottled variety. Coffee and desserts were below par and desserts overpriced. Wouldn't recommend to anyone as there are so many more lovely wineries and beer places in the same area.
