Embers Tap House - Lockport

We dined there on 10/7/22, the food was great! I had the corn hash sandwich, my kids loved their wings, and my wife had the Buffalo chicken Mac Cheese. The fried pickles were ok. The mix drinks were good, wife had the Manhattan. I had a craft beer.Our waitress Kaitly (I hoped I didn?t mess up her name) was outstanding, she gave us great food recommendations. I willdefinitely go back.

Can't say enough good things about our experience! Service was prompt and professional. Food was absolutely delicious! Finished our evening up in the speakeasy and the cocktails were perfectly constructed! Hats off to the Ember's team for such a great experience!!

The food isn't the best. We had surf and turf. The meat served was strip steak, precooked and held in chef trays. I don't like strip steak. I don't like well-done strip steak. When I asked for a thicker cut (hoping it wouldn't be well done), I was politely told no. I understand they served 120 people for a comedy show and dinner. I get that. But I've never had a good dining experience at Embers. And I keep trying! I'll be back because I love the whole place, and the GM is top-notch. The special event crew is a bit condescending. Even with all that, I'll be back!

We attended Embers Valentine's Day Comedy Dinner Show. Everything was just amazing. The dinner option was Surf and Turf. The steak cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service was on point. Managers were stopping by the whole time, making sure we received a good service. The crew was very fast and friendly. The package included dinner and the comedy show. We're planning to make this our Valentine's Day tradition every year. So, hopefully, they will continue providing this venue again next year. For the show, Brian Hicks was the headliner, and he was hilarious.

One of the best places I’ve been to while here for work in Chicago
