Worsest and most expensive smoothie ever. They use frozen fruits with no taste. We throw away 3 smoothies.
Within one hour of finishing my smoothie I became extremely sick which lasted over 24 hours and had a fever assuming food poisoning. While I don't like to leave negative reviews or assume things I had also noticed employees not washing hands and going from register and their personal phones the few times I have been here directly to make the smoothies and no gloves . It wasn't until I saw the review mentioning this as well that I have to assume this could be what caused me to get sick .
I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with my service at Smoothie King in Lockport. My sister and I went into get smoothie bowls around 11:40am this morning... There was one girl working with dark hair and glasses she took our order and we had at most three things changed on the bowls. I was expecting her to not mess anything up since it 's her job and the computer prints out the recipes of how to make the bowls so things like this don 't happen.... I work at a different smoothie king so I know how most things are ran at other stores. She was making the bowls and I asked her which was which because they weren 't looking like what we ordered for $21.58 and to my surprise she didn 't respond. My sister and I walked back to our car and she brought up that hers wasn 't right...I wasn 't just going to let that worker take advantage of us and our money just so I went in the store and she was still on speaker phone with whoever was more important than her job. So, I walked back in and I told her my issue and she told me to look at the menu again saying that was I was telling her wasn 't right.. Mind you my Berry Gogi Getaway was somewhat correct, i said no gogi berries and asked her to sub the honey for peanut butter, i didn 't get any coconut flakes on mine. My final result wasn 't horrible but I didn 't get any coconut flakes. My sisters PB Swizzle was incorrect, my sister asked to sub the blueberries for mangos but everything else was the same, there were no bananas and no peanut butter and there was honey instead. There was an extreme amount of blueberries on hers which was the ONE thing my sister distinctly didn 't want. She had no work etiquette. She was on speaker phone the whole time and even when another customer came in, she mentioned it to me after I came into complain so, I wasn 't the only one that noticed. I never saw her wash her hands before making our bowls let alone put on gloves and I know for a fact that is a guideline for every food business when dealing with food. Again, I am very disappointed and I hope some actions are taken regarding this. Thanks.
Tried to get in contact with the manager for a refund several times and they’re either “never there” or no one answers their phone.
