Bidra med feedbackFood was great. Only 1 worker present so it was slow but he did a great job Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
The ingredients that I ordered very small amounts on sandwiche! Skimpy made! For $12 plus taxes, I should have got a lot on a foot long. That included bottled drink and chips. I should have just gotten a BLT instead of vegetarian with bacon. Vegetarian options: I ordered vegetarian with bacon. With bottle drink and chips, it was $12 with taxes Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3
I told him I was politely requesting a remake, but he responded that he “didn’t care if I was nice,” insisting that I had already received a free sandwich. I would have understood if he had refused a remake, but he started being hostile right away. I showed him the sandwich, pointing out that it had chicken instead of turkey, which only made him more upset, yet he eventually agreed to remake it. What really troubled me was that he was the only employee working the night before; this led me to believe the mistake might have been intentional after our conversation. I told him that it was their responsibility to prepare the sandwich correctly the first time. He accused me of being ungrateful, claiming I always got free sandwiches and that remaking it would be a waste. He even threatened to get rid of the BOGO deal for everyone, saying it would be “because of me.” While standing over my sandwich, he tried to pick a fight about me always using the BOGO offer. When I explained that I might not be able to afford a full-priced item, he dismissed my concerns, saying it wasn’t his problem and that I was costing him money. He also got irritated when I referred to the BOGO as a coupon, claiming they were not the same, which I didn’t understand given they are essentially the same type of deal. Feeling uneasy, especially being a woman alone at night, I started recording our conversation. The last five minutes of the recording capture him shouting that I always get free sandwiches, that he doesn’t profit from me, and insisting it’s a BOGO, not a coupon. I remarked that if he was this upset over customers using the BOGO, then it was probably best for him to discontinue it. After some more argument, he pushed the sandwich towards me, saying, “If I ever see your name again when you use the BOGO, you will only get one sandwich.” The recording doesn’t capture the worst of it, but you can clearly hear him yelling and trying to argue with me. I can’t wrap my head around why a business owner would berate a woman at least 30 years younger than him over a coupon. I will not be returning to this place and will make sure to warn others. I’ve never felt so embarrassed, scared, and upset by a local business in my life. Overall, I advise against going to this Subway—the owner is incredibly rude. Nearby Jack’s is much more pleasant and has no issues correcting their (rare) mistakes. Service: Takeout Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Mr. Sunny is fantastic! The food is excellent, and the service is wonderful. I ordered takeout for lunch, and it was definitely worth the price range of $10–20 per person. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a solid 5, and the atmosphere is also a 5. I highly recommend the Pizza Sub, Cookies, Subway Club, and The Ultimate BMT.
I wouldn’t have been upset if he had simply said no to the remake, but his immediate hostility was shocking. When I showed him the sandwich and pointed out that it had chicken instead of turkey, he only became angrier but agreed to remake it. What bothered me even more was that he had been the only employee the night before, leading me to suspect that he intentionally messed up my order after our initial conversation. He accused me of being ungrateful, claiming I always get free sandwiches and that remaking the order would be a waste. He even threatened to eliminate the BOGO deal for everyone because of me. While I stood there, he tried to argue with me about using the BOGO, stating that I should order something else to support his business. When I suggested that I might not be able to afford anything else, he simply shrugged it off, saying it wasn’t his concern and that I was costing him money. He got particularly agitated when I referred to the BOGO as a coupon, even though those terms aren’t mutually exclusive. Feeling uncomfortable, especially being alone at night as a woman, I started recording our conversation. In the last five minutes of the recording, you can hear him yelling about how I always get free sandwiches, that he doesn't make money off me, and that I'm the reason he plans to eliminate the BOGO. I mentioned that it was a good idea to eliminate the deal if it upset him so much. After some more back-and-forth, he slid the sandwich toward me and said, “If I ever see your name again when you order the BOGO, you’ll only get one sandwich.” While the recording doesn’t capture everything, you can still hear him yelling and trying to argue with me. I can’t fathom a business owner yelling at a woman who is at least 30 years younger than him over the use of a coupon. I won’t be returning, and I’ll make sure to tell everyone I know to avoid this place. I've never felt so embarrassed, scared, and upset in a local establishment. Overall, I strongly advise against visiting this Subway; the owner is incredibly rude, and the environment is unwelcoming. The nearby Jacks is much friendlier and has no issue handling mistakes.
