Avanzare - Lombard

We used to love this restaurant, but our recent experience was not as good. We ordered the Bolognese sauce, but it didn't taste as delicious as usual. The service was still excellent despite being very busy.

The experience was slightly different from our usual visits because we were seated in the bar area.

The food and service were excellent. It's true Italian home cooking. My meal braciole was delicious. My husband ordered off the menu requested a special sauce switch. Ally accommodated and also scrumptious!

We always enjoy our experience at Avanzare. We are always made to feel welcome and appreciated when we arrive. I went with two friends yesterday; we all loved our meals, and the service was top notch. We were not rushed in any way, and actually sat for hours with ample time to get caught up. We are happy to have a local restaurant, with great ambience, wonderful service and delicious and consistent food.
