Madisons - London

I was extremely disappointed with Madisons. My family and I arrived for a meal, only to be turned away.

I've dined at this restaurant a few times, and the experience has been surprisingly inconsistent. On one visit, there was definitely a lack of staff training; the server made so many mistakes that I half expected to see a hidden camera crew! However, on other occasions, the service was perfectly acceptable. The menu mainly features European cuisine. It’s worth arriving early during the week, as they often have a great early-bird special. I've noticed that the restaurant can get quite crowded at times, filled with either small groups or larger parties, which suggests that many people enjoy it. There is limited parking available nearby, but as long as you avoid peak shopping hours in the town center, it typically isn’t much of an issue. Proceed with caution, but if you catch it on a good day, it can be a pleasant experience.

The venue has a nice ambiance, but the wait for food was excessively long. I also discovered mussel shells in my meatball appetizer, though I didn't feel it was worth bringing up. I’m uncertain if I'll return, but I did enjoy my experience overall.
