Maido Sushi - London

We celebrated our 10-year anniversary of completing the test phase at this restaurant. We opted for seats at the sushi bar and thoroughly enjoyed watching the sushi chefs at work. The quality of the fish was outstanding, and the rice was exquisite—perfect in temperature and consistency. The staff was friendly, and we had a wonderful evening outdoors.

I don't understand why this restaurant has such high ratings. The experience was quite mediocre overall. The service was consistently poor; the staff was rude, slow, and frequently forgot our requests. The sashimi was nearly frozen—definitely not fresh enough. I might consider ordering delivery from here again, but I wouldn't eat in the restaurant again. The rolls fell apart, the avocado wasn't ripe, and the spicy roll was overwhelmed with too much mayonnaise. Overall, it was a disappointment. Our dinner for three cost £95. Rating: B.

This is a fantastic local Japanese restaurant that offers expertly prepared sushi, sashimi, and hot dishes. The service is quick and friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable.

Excellent choice for Japanese (and not just sushi). sitting outside they enjoy the delicious options with good. it was a beautiful Sunday morning dinner in this facility. and service is excellent. So what else can they ask?

This is not a typical “sushi restaurant”. It’s more like a fancier Itsu with some tables inside and around the sushi counter. Hence, the prices are more reasonable and the portions are sizeable, but it doesn’t have the real ambiance of a restaurant. Service is helpful and the food of good quality, but just be aware that it’s nearly more of a fast food style of restaurant with some ready made sushi boxes and drinks ready for takeaway from the open fridges.
