Bidra med feedbackExceptional quality food at amazingly low prices! I have been at the Smoke Cottage several times for lunch and dinners and the food has always been utterly delicious. Proprietress/chef Christina is French trained and has a keen eye for quality food and wine. The charcuterie platter showcases some of the best Spanish cured meats I ever tried. I had the rib eye steak, pan fried hake and half chicken in the past and I've been swooning every time. For starters you must try Christina's signature dish of burnt leeks with Parmesan, truffle oil and perfectly poached egg. Her side dishes are just lovely, I tried the chips, creamed spinach (yum), pan fried mushrooms and the decadent mashed potatoes. You just can't go wrong eating here.
The Smoke Cottage is a fabulous new edition to South Ealing eating. Really top rate food in a casual, comfortable setting. Prices very reasonable but I think these are special offers so I recommend you visit soon. Steak excellent, Chicken amazing, it really is and the house wine is top. The friend I went with managed to persuade a coleauge who was intent on an Ealing Broadway steak venue to try it and he was delighted.
A really nice little and relaxed restaurant. The staff were very friendly, great food at amazing prices!
Beautiful meal. some friends have joined us and we have tried at least half of the menu. we decided on Sunday for a smoke cottage breakfast.
