The Bag O Nails - London

I had an amazing time here to get drinks and try vegan fish and chips! Everything was super delicious, the staff was very friendly, and I would definitely go back. All vegan options were marked on the menu, they even have a vegan chocolate cake!

Unfortunately, this was a very unpleasant experience. The pub below was very busy, but the bar staff said we could order our food upstairs. While I was up there, various employees came in and told us that we were not allowed there, but we were told to go upstairs again. The staff was not as short as openly rude. All that was wrong was agreed to be our fault, we were persistently led to things being wrong, even if we did what we were doing. The staff was clearly very angry. We were told that we could not order without a table number, but there were no table numbers all over the place! It was just a really strange experience, but a very unpleasant one. I would certainly avoid coming back here, vegan options or otherwise. I was left over this place with very bad feelings.

I cannot rate this establishment highly enough. My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful afternoon here. For one, dog friendly.....tick. They offered water for her.....put up with her periodic barking For two, super speedy service even though it was mega busy. Food off the wall amazing. We had the Lasagne and Hunters Chicken highly recommend both. Fellow flippin’ patrons lovely and friendly! Management real and attentive. If I lived nearby this would definitely be my local Thank you Bag ‘O’ Nails. You’ve nailed it re the perfect pub

Great pub just outside of the Buckingham Palace area. Seating in the main dining area, outside or upstairs. Great beer menu as well.
